One unit is one record stored. A trace is 1 unit, each span inside it is 1 unit, and each product event is 1 unit, so a trace with 27 spans uses 28 units. Only records that store are counted, so a retried batch is never charged twice.
One step that actually runs. Checks run as a decision tree, so a check with 100 steps that only needs 5 of them on a trace uses 5 executions, not 100. Each step that runs in an agent you build in Trodo is 1 execution, and so is each alert that fires. Checks, agents, alerts and the issues they create share the same monthly pool.
Issues have no limit of their own. They are created by your checks, by agents you build or start from a template, and by Lucid, and that work draws on the same executions and Lucid credits as everything else.
Lucid answers questions about your traces using Trodo’s models, and each answer draws on your credits. Your plan includes credits every billing month: $2 on Developer, $30 on Pro, custom on Enterprise. These reset at the start of each billing month, and unused ones don’t carry over. Need more? Top up as much as you like, whenever you like. Credits you top up never expire and never reset; they stay until you use them. Or bring your own model keys and Lucid uses those instead, without touching your credits.
Ingestion for that limit pauses until your next monthly period, and the API returns a clear error naming the limit and your usage. Nothing is dropped silently and your existing data is untouched. Upgrading raises the limit immediately.
On your billing anniversary, not the first of the month. Sign up on the 18th and your period runs 18th to 18th.
